Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering professional to plan, design, coordinate and execute modular formwork systems on project sites in the Philippines. You will prepare formwork layouts, sequencing plans, material requirements and productivity plans to support efficient operations.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.

Job Description

Responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and executing modular formwork systems, including aluminum, steel, and other system formwork solutions, in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and construction schedules. Prepare formwork layouts, sequencing plans, material requirements, and productivity plans to support efficient construction operations.

Coordinate with design, structural, rebar, concrete, precast, QA/QC, and site execution teams to ensure timely availability, installation, modification, and dismantling of formwork systems. Review drawings, identify constructability issues, and provide technical solutions to optimize formwork utilization, cycle times, and project costs.

Ensure compliance with quality requirements through inspections, dimensional checks, tolerance verification, and implementation of corrective actions. Monitor formwork condition, maintenance, inventory control, and reuse cycles to maximize asset utilization and minimize losses or damage.

Lead safety initiatives by enforcing HSE standards, conducting risk assessments, supporting toolbox talks, and ensuring safe lifting operations, work-at-height activities, and material handling practices.

Track material consumption, productivity, cycle times, and progress against project milestones. Prepare reports, manage resources, control costs, and drive continuous improvement in formwork operations.
