Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Scaffolding Inspector to inspect, certify, and monitor scaffold installations on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, regulations, and HSE standards.

You will conduct inspections of various scaffolds, verify stability and tagging, participate in safety audits, and coordinate with teams to maintain safe work access. Certification as Scaffolding Inspector and site experience required.

Job Description

Responsible for inspecting, certifying, and monitoring scaffold installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, statutory regulations, project requirements, and HSE standards. Conduct inspections of erected scaffolds, access platforms, stair towers, suspended scaffolds, and temporary structures before use and at defined intervals. Verify scaffold stability, foundations, ties, bracing, guardrails, access, load capacities, and tagging systems. Identify unsafe conditions, initiate corrective actions, and maintain inspection records and certifications. Coordinate with construction, formwork, and safety teams to ensure safe access for all work activities. Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with work-at-height requirements. Requires certification as a Scaffolding Inspector and experience in scaffold inspection, safety management, and construction site operations.
