Job description
What you'll do on a typical day:
Independently design and manage complex Formwork, Climbing Systems, Infrastructures, Shoring and Scaffolding solutions using PERI products, in accordance with PERI guidelines, best practices, and relevant European standards, particularly for specialized steel solutions, while ensuring efficient and effective time management.
Prepare detailed drawings, material take-offs, and static design calculations.
Conduct advanced static calculations and structural analysis independently using PERI design tools such as PERI Force Control, RSTAB, Static Tool, etc. with strong focus on optimizing cost-effectiveness and structural efficiency.
Check offer drawings, GADs, BQs and statical calculations before submission for Lead Engineer approval and before they leave the Technical Department.
Check assembly and fabrication drawings before submission for Lead Engineer approval and before they leave the Technical Department.
Prioritize projects taking into consideration assembly time, equipment sourcing and delivery time.
Assist in the development of new product strategy in line with PERI’s defined global strategy.
Participate in project‑related kick‑off meetings.
Brief Formwork Instructors before arrival on site (hand over GADs, BQs and assembly drawings, give relevant "soft" information).
Determine training requirements and request for training from the Head of Engineering.
What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Extensive knowledge and hands‑on experience in complex formwork, climbing, infrastructures, shoring, scaffold design, and special steel solutions, over 6 years of relevant industry experience.
Proficient in 3D modeling (BIM), PERIcad NextGen (BricsCAD), RSTAB, RFEM, MS Office, and other PERI software tools such as PERI Force Control, Static/Excel Tools, and Perian.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with high level of attention to detail.
Effective time management skills and ability to perform under pressure in fast‑paced environments.
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (both verbally and written).
Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds; demonstrates a strong team spirit and maintains a positive, proactive work attitude.
