Job summary

Virginia Food, Inc. seeks a Fleet Operations Supervisor to ensure total fleet reliability, regulatory compliance (LTO/permits), and cost-efficient preventive maintenance. You will keep daily transport operations running smoothly, protect company assets, and support supply chain performance.

The role requires monitoring fleet utilization, coordinating repairs, and managing vendor relationships to minimize downtime and costs while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years managing commercial vehicle fleets and automotive maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine land transport regulations, including LTO registration renewals and permit processing.
• Experience supervising drivers/technicians, handling emergency breakdowns, and enforcing safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle uptime, downtime, aging, and capacity to ensure full fleet availability.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance; analyze recurring issues and coordinate repairs.
• Build and manage a network of accredited repair shops; negotiate service pricing and evaluate performance.
• Ensure all registrations, insurance, permits, and regulatory documents are updated and compliant.
• Maintain dashboards to track uptime, repair frequency, and costs; recommend improvements.
• Coordinate emergency road repairs, replacement vehicles, and contingency plans to ensure continuity.
• Conduct internal fleet audits and improve workflows through SOPs and policy enforcement.
