Qualifications

• Experience in fleet, motorpool, or transport operations management is an advantage.
• Proven track record in managing teams, workflow, and resources.
• Solid understanding of vehicle/equipment maintenance and safety compliance standards.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers, mechanics, and support staff in the motorpool.
• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance of trucks, forklifts, and other vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle/equipment usage, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment records, logs, and reports.
• Oversee procurement of parts, supplies, and service contracts.
• Implement policies for efficient fleet utilization.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are roadworthy/operational.
• Train and evaluate staff performance.
• Coordinate with other departments for transportation needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by top management.
