Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Trucking Supervisor to oversee daily trucking operations, bookings, scheduling, and driver/ helper management in Metro Manila. You will ensure on-time deliveries, monitor truck status, and coordinate with clients and warehouses to resolve issues.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in trucking/logistics, and hands-on knowledge of maintenance and preventive care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trucking or logistics.
• Experience as Trucking Supervisor, Fleet Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of daily trucking operations.
• Proven experience in trip booking and scheduling.
• Proven experience managing truck drivers and helpers.
• Experience monitoring deliveries and resolving operational issues.
• Knowledge of truck repair and preventive maintenance.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple trucking concerns simultaneously.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Trucking Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the company's daily trucking operations, including trip booking and scheduling, driver and helper management, delivery monitoring, truck repairs and maintenance, and inventory of supplies and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate daily trucking bookings and trip schedules

• Assign trucks, drivers, and helpers based on scheduled trips and operational requirements

• Supervise and manage truck drivers and helpers, monitoring attendance, availability, performance, and discipline

• Monitor all ongoing trips and ensure timely pick-up and delivery

• Track the status and location of trucks during operations

• Address delays, traffic issues, breakdowns, failed deliveries, and other operational concerns

• Coordinate with drivers, clients, warehouses, ports, and other parties to ensure smooth delivery operations

• Monitor the condition and availability of all company trucks and ensure regular preventive maintenance

• Conduct regular inventory of trucking supplies, tools, spare parts, and other operational equipment

• Maintain accurate records of available supplies, tools, repairs, maintenance, and truck downtime

About you

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trucking, fleet management, logistics, transportation, or a related field

• Previous experience as a Trucking Supervisor, Fleet Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, or similar supervisory position

• Strong knowledge of daily trucking operations

• Proven experience in trip booking and scheduling

• Proven experience managing truck drivers and helpers

• Experience monitoring deliveries and resolving operational issues
