SOBIDA MOTORS CORPORATION is seeking an experienced Operations Lead to optimize truck delivery operations, plan routes, and oversee drivers and helpers in Antipolo. The role requires coordinating with fleet and admin to ensure timely trip execution and compliance with LGU regulations.
The successful candidate will monitor vehicle conditions, manage loading safety, and submit daily operational reports while supporting the Operation Manager in evaluations and discipline as needed.
Achieve optimum delivery operations by maximizing delivery potentials of trucks, routes, drivers and helpers in line with job orders.
Plan and monitor the trips and routes of trucks, complete the internal and mandatory documents needed for the customers and for the routes required by LGU and regulatory agencies in coordination with the Admin Assistant, assign drivers and helpers and get feedback and reports after unloading and return of from trips.
Coordinate with the project site office/factory on delivery documents needed, and after return submission of documents.
Planning and monitoring include; a) unit checklist for safe operation and dispatching; b) physical conditions of assigned drivers and helpers, with special instruction on site delivery if applicable; c) expected time of departure, arrival and return clearly communicated to the driver; d) on-route monitoring and the use of GPS & tracking and communication when applicable; e) on-site situation and customer feedback communicated to the Operation Manager, during delivery and after delivery; f) Fuel consumption & mileage monitoring; g) examine the physical condition and functionality of the truck after delivery and report findings to the Head of Fleet, Head Dispatcher and Operation Manager for proper action/disposition.
Submit daily trips report to the Head Dispatcher and/or Operation Manager as may be required.
Supervise and monitor the loading in tandem with the cargo loader or safety officer or examine the load conditions after loading for safety consideration. Coordinate and communicate with loaders and safety officer on safe practices.
Coordinate and communicate with head of Fleet Management on the wear and tear of trucks parts and components, schedules of routine periodic maintenance, emergency repairs and on-site and off-site rescue.
Coordinate and communicate with the Admin Assistant on registration renewal, LGU requirements on the routes, LTFRB required franchising of units and other regulatory compliance to permit the truck units to operate.
Perform other office and field duties/assignments as directed by the Operation Manager.
Perform other job-related functions as may be assigned by the Operation Manager.
Assures that the documents need by the truck to operate (DR, Invoice-all trade documents, LTO, LTFRB and LGU regulations) are present on the truck.
Assist the Operation Manager on drivers and helper's evaluation and discipline.
Daily operational reports (daily trip report) submitted to Operation Manager.
GPS trucking system reports when applicable.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science courses emphasizing on Management.
With minimum of 1 year experience in trucking operations with responsibilities in supervisions, dispatching, route planning and the likes.
Willing to be deployed and currently residing in Antipolo City.
