Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a financial planning and analysis professional to lead budgeting and forecasting for OPEX and CAPEX. You will drive cost control, prepare monthly variance analyses, and deliver insightful reporting to senior management.

The role partners with multiple departments, supports strategic initiatives, and requires strong data analysis, modelling, and PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data and financial analysis.
  • Experience working in SAP controlling module.
  • Experience heading discussions with C-level executives.
  • Financial modelling and preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to build alliances within the organization.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities.

About The Job

The primary role provides in-depth financial analysis and reporting, specifically concerning the company's operating expenses (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX). Plays a key role in the budgeting process, cost control, performance monitoring, and driving financial efficiency across the organization.

What You’ll Do
Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Support the preparation and consolidation of operating and capital expenditure budgets..
  • Review departmental budget submissions for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with approved assumptions and financial targets.
  • Contribute to the development of robust forecasting models for OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Coordinate with budget owners to gather financial data, assumptions, and supporting information
Cost Control And Monitoring
  • Establish and maintain effective controls to monitor spending across all cost centers.
  • Proactively track expenditures against approved budgets, forecasts, and relevant cost drivers, identifying and investigating deviations.
  • Provide timely and insightful analysis of spending trends and potential risks or opportunities.
  • Collaborate with budget owners to implement corrective actions and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
Financial Reporting And Analysis
  • Conduct thorough reviews of monthly financial results, with a specific focus on OPEX performance.
  • Prepare detailed variance analysis reports (actual vs. budget/forecast) with clear explanations for significant deviations.
  • Develop and present insightful financial reports and presentations to management, highlighting key trends, performance indicators, and potential areas for improvement.
Business Partnering And Performance Improvement
  • Serve as a trusted financial partner to all departments, providing guidance and support on financial matters related to OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Collaborate with departmental teams to identify, evaluate, and implement new cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Actively monitor the development and tracking of significant key performance indicators (KPIs) within each process that impact company profitability.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
What You Need To Have
  • Experience in financial services industry
