Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Finance Analyst to ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen budgeting and forecasting, and deliver actionable insights.

You will work on monthly closings, variance analyses, and develop financial models to support strategic initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5 years+ of experience with bookkeeping and analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of IFRS 9 and 15.
• Knowledge in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge in Anaplan software.
• Fluent oral and written English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past trends in KPIs including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and receivables.
• Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, analyze causes of variance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend actions.
• Support Head of Planning and Analytics with presentations to Board and Senior Management.
• Participate in monthly financial closing, variance analysis of actuals vs budget, ensure correct booking of financials.
• Develop financial models and dashboards to track business performance.

About The Job

The objective of this role is to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthen budgeting and forecasting processes, and deliver actionable financial insights that support business performance and compliance requirements

What You Will Do

• Business analysis
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and customer receivables
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, identify inefficiencies, recommend actions
• Support Head of Planning and Analytics with preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
• Active involvement in monthly financial closing, performing variances analysis of actuals vs budget and acting as a control to ensure financials are correctly booked Budgeting & Forecasting
• Financial Planning & Forecasting
• Preparation and assistance in preparation of various departments’ plans and forecast
• Independently work with financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Examine financial plan estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with existing & future business strategy as well as existing & future IFRS standards
• Assistance with preparation of stress test scenarios, sensitivity analyses
• Critically examine logics used to estimate sales plans, Risk performance projections, budget for expenses and intelligently question if found some inconsistencies or buffers in the logic
• Preparation and assistance in preparation of financial plan presentation for shareholders
• Develop financial models and dashboards to track business performance.

What You Need To Have

• 5 years+ of experience with bookkeeping and analytics,

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Using Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge and practical experience in SQL (Oracle)
• Knowledge of IFRS 9 and 15
• Knowledge in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge in Anaplan software
• Analytical mind, problem solving, well organized and can be trusted to pay attention to detail.
