Job summary

Beepo in Clark, Pampanga, Philippines is seeking a Financial Accountant to support accounts management, financial reporting, and compliance for a full-service outsourcing company.

You will own the AP/AR inbox, run daily/weekly sales reporting, manage the month-end and year-end close, and prepare timely financial reports and analysis for leadership, including BAS, PAYG, Payroll, Superannuation and WorkCover compliance.

Qualifications

• CA-qualified with hands-on post-qualification accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and Australian compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Payroll, Superannuation, WorkCover).
• Strong reconciliation and general ledger skills with attention to detail.
• Able to draw commercial conclusions from data sources and communicate to non-finance staff.
• Experience with cloud-based Retail/Ecommerce systems such as Shopify, CIN7 Core, Xero and DEXT is preferred.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce or omni‑channel business is a bonus.

About the role

Financial Accountant role supporting accounts management, financial reporting, and compliance across a full-service outsourcing company.

Key responsibilities

• Own the accounts inbox, including the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and payments
• Run the daily and weekly sales reporting and commentary
• Own the month-end and year-end close process including balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare timely, accurate monthly financial reports and analysis, and help pull together performance reporting for leadership
• Prepare compliance reporting including BAS, PAYG, Payroll, Superannuation Payroll Tax and WorkCover
• Prepare data analysis to support commercial decisions

Qualifications:

• Ideally CA qualified, with solid post-qualification experience in a hands-on accounting role
• Confident across the full month-end cycle and Australian compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Payroll, Superannuation, WorkCover)
• Strong reconciliation and general ledger skills, with an eye for detail and a love of clean books
• Comfortable in a fast-paced growing business with an ability to draw commercial conclusions from broad data sources
• A clear communicator who can translate finance for people who don't live in spreadsheets
• Ideally experience with cloud-based Retail/Ecommerce systems such as Shopify, CIN7 Core, Xero and DEXT
• Experience in retail, e-commerce or an omni-channel business is a bonus
