Job summary

Testech Inc is seeking a Contractual Inventory and Fixed Asset Assistant to support the Finance team with inventory counts, asset tagging, and data maintenance. You will encode count details, maintain fixed asset databases, and monitor capital expenditures while ensuring accuracy and proper documentation for PEZA requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, have attention to detail, good organizational skills, and can work well with minimal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Experience in Inventory/Fixed Asset or administrative finance work is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Oracle is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly inventory counts
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of inventory count result details during encoding
• Assist in asset tagging of fixed assets
• Maintain organized database of information of fixed asset details and monthly update of fixed asset lapsing schedule
• Track, update, and monitor status of Capital expenditures
• Reconciliation of actual inventories and fixed asset vs books
• Assist in documentation of fixed asset for PEZA requirements, filing of inventory count sheets and retrieval of records when needed
• Support the Finance team with basic administrative tasks related to inventory and fixed asset

About the role

The Contractual Inventory and Fixed Asset Assistant is responsible for supporting the Finance team with inventory and fixed asset management. This role focuses on monthly inventory count, count sheet encoding, fixed asset tagging and maintaining accurate databases.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly inventory counts
