Job summary

AB Business Support Services in Metro Manila is seeking an Account Manager to lead Finance and Accounting operations, overseeing AR, AP, refunds, reconciliations, and travel & expense processes. You will drive client delivery, team performance, SLA/KPI achievement, risk management, and continuous process improvement through automation and AI.

The role requires 5+ years in F&A operations, 2+ years in people leadership, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Five+ years in Finance and Accounting operations, preferably in BPO or shared services.
At least two years in people leadership, operations management, or account management.
Strong knowledge of AR, AP, refunds, reconciliations, and related finance processes.
Experience managing teams and working with international clients.
Solid understanding of SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality, and performance management.
Proven track record in process improvement, workflow optimization, or automation.
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and their business applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day Finance and Accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely service delivery.
Serve as the primary client contact for performance reviews, reporting, concerns, and escalations.
Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and their teams.
Monitor SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality, backlogs, aging items, and operational risks.
Analyze and redesign workflows to reduce errors, redundancies, and turnaround time.
Identify and implement automation and AI solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain SOPs, process documentation, internal controls, and training materials.
Ensure compliance with client policies, financial controls, data privacy, and data-security requirements.
