Job summary

GetGround is seeking a Head of Accounting Operations in Manila to lead a 45+ person team across accounting, customer support and related functions. You will own the delivery of UK statutory accounts and corporation tax filings, while driving performance, quality and a culture of continuous improvement.

You will be the senior technical escalation point for the accounting team, shaping processes, tools and AI-enabled automation to scale output and efficiency across the operation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with leadership experience overseeing large teams in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
• Ability to provide senior technical judgement on UK statutory accounts and tax matters.
• Proven track record in operational delivery, process improvement and people development.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the annual accounts cycle for UK entities, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Set and maintain high technical standards across the team and review layers.
• Lead adoption of AI and automation to improve productivity while preserving quality.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing Manila operation, engaging with global partners.
