Q2 HR Solutions in Manila is seeking a proactive Finance Team Leader to support an overseas-based finance team and ensure KPIs are met. You will lead day-to-day operations, manage workloads, and provide direct support to the Accounts Payable Manager.

The ideal candidate has strong Accounts Payable knowledge, people leadership, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset, with experience handling complex accounts and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with invoices and accounts.
• Experience using finance systems and a good understanding of related finance processes.
• Experience working within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day team operations, manage workloads, and ensure KPIs are achieved.
• Train, mentor, support, and review team members while promoting a positive environment.
• Serve as first point of contact for overseas and onshore team queries.
• Support AP Manager in resolving complex queries and ad hoc activities.
• Reconcile complex accounts and assist with challenging AP issues.
• Participate in team reviews, set development objectives, and identify training needs.
• Provide training to the overseas team with UK-based support when required.
• Maintain a positive environment where team members can grow.
• Provide a positive service desk experience to key stakeholders for AP queries.
• Support management of AP inbox emails and remittance advice.
