Job summary

Fyfe in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to own the end-to-end AP function and guide a team through the next stage of finance transformation. This offshore remote role aligns with our global delivery model and requires strong operational leadership and financial controls.

Qualifications

• End-to-end Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience leading and developing an AP team.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, PO matching, payments, reconciliations, and month-end cut-off.
• Experience with modern ERP, workflow, and document-capture platforms.
• Experience in finance process improvement, automation or system transformation.
• Interest in AI and emerging technology within finance with responsible use.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and integrity handling confidential information.
• Ability to identify problems, root causes, and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AP function, ensuring invoices, payments, reconciliations and month-end activities are processed accurately.
• Lead, coach and develop the AP team with clear performance standards.
• Manage AP performance, including workloads, backlogs, ageing, payments, supplier queries and KPIs.
• Drive automation and process improvements to reduce manual work and raise efficiency.
• Champion AI and digital technologies across AP, including intelligent invoice capture and AI-assisted exception management.
• Maintain strong controls: segregation of duties, supplier controls, fraud prevention and data protection.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, IT and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
