About the role
The Account Manager will lead Finance and Accounting operations, overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Refunds, Reconciliations, and Travel and Expense processes. You will be responsible for client delivery, team performance, service quality, SLA and KPI achievement, risk management, and continuous process improvement through automation and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day Finance and Accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely service delivery.
- Serve as the primary client contact for performance reviews, reporting, concerns, and escalations.
- Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and their teams.
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality, backlogs, aging items, and operational risks.
- Analyze and redesign workflows to reduce errors, redundancies, and turnaround time.
- Identify and implement practical automation and AI solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain SOPs, process documentation, internal controls, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with client policies, financial controls, data-privacy, and data-security requirements.
About you
- At least five years of experience in Finance and Accounting operations, preferably in a BPO or shared-services environment.
- At least two years of experience in people leadership, operations management, or account management.
- Strong working knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Refunds, Reconciliations, and related finance processes.
- Experience managing teams and working directly with international clients.
- Strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality, and operational-performance management.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, workflow optimization, or automation.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude and their practical business applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and English communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, risk-aware, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
