Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. seeks a Microfinance Loan Officer to drive loan volume targets while maintaining profitability and quality.

You will deliver excellent customer service across a wide client base in Mindanao and Caraga regions, with responsibilities spanning client solicitation, center development, credit assessment, and loan processing. You will coordinate with branches to ensure timely booking, manage collections, and stay compliant with bank policies, leveraging your fieldwork and sales

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4 year degree.
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• With high integrity.
• Familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.
• Willing to be based or assigned in multiple Mindanao/Caraga locations.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Develops MFO centers through regular meetings, visits, service of members and training.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with branches and units for processing and servicing loan applications.
• Ensure adherence to bank policies and procedures.
• Execute sales and marketing activities to hit volume targets.
• Attend to inquiries of clients and update loan files for processing and booking.
• Secure information on market trends and competitor practices.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
