Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts, develop MFO centers, and analyze applicants to ensure credit quality and profitable lending.

Fieldwork across Baguio, Buguias and La Trinidad is required, with a focus on strong customer service and sales performance. You will coordinate with teams to process applications, adhere to bank policies, and execute marketing activities to hit volume targets

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year degree course.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• High integrity.
• Familiar with Word and spreadsheet software.
• Fieldwork and microfinance sales experience is an advantage.
• Willing to do field work and be assigned in Baguio, Buguias and La Trinidad.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer.
• Develops the MFO centers through regular center meetings & visits, servicing of MFO members, training, performance updates, etc.
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiates credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinates with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Ensures adherence to the bank’s policies and procedures.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.
• Attends to inquiries and other requirements of the clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Secure information regarding competitor’s practices, market trends and customer needs.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned to him/her
