Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer to drive micro, small and medium enterprise lending, aiming to hit loan targets while preserving profitability, credit quality, and high service standards.

The role requires active field outreach, evaluation of loan applicants, initiation of credit actions, and collaboration with multiple units to process and service loans, with a focus on practical field skills and customer-centric selling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must be amenable to doing field work / working on the field on an almost daily basis.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits to meet customer needs.
• Analyze overall loan applicant qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
