Rex Education is seeking a Facilities Manager in the Philippines to oversee the operation of company property assets. You will manage day-to-day FM operations, ensure cost-efficient service delivery, and drive compliance with KPIs across housekeeping, maintenance, security and other FM services.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and at least three years in facilities management, with strong project and vendor management skills.
Job Description:
Ensures the effective and cost-efficient operation of business facilities of the assigned properties. Deliver all Facilities Management services within the Key Performance Indicators as approved by Management. Achieve the Key Performance Indicators as approved in the Annual Operating Plan for the assigned properties. Manages the day-to-day Facilities Management operations of assigned properties listed below
Annual Operating Plan
Prepares and executes the Facilities Management Annual Operating Plan (AOP) covering the assigned properties.
Ensures that FM activities, targets, and budgets are aligned with Management objectives.
Facilities Management Operations
Manages the day-to-day Facilities Management operations of the assigned properties.
Ensures effective and cost-efficient delivery of FM services in accordance with approved KPIs, including:
Repairs and Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance Programs
Project Management Services
Security Services
Housekeeping Services
Maintenance Services
Compliance and Legal Documentation
Business Reporting and Performance Monitoring
Prepares and submits business reports required by Management, covering:
Project Management
Cost-Saving Proposals
FM Services Performance Metrics
Legal Documentation and Compliance
Risk Management
Technical Studies
Prepares and presents established KPIs during the monthly Business Review Meeting for the assigned properties.
Customer Satisfaction
Ensures the achievement of customer satisfaction targets and ratings for the assigned properties.
Identifies opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of FM services.
External Stakeholder Coordination
Acts as the secondary liaison officer with external stakeholders on technical matters concerning the assigned properties, including:
Local barangay officials
Utility companies
Local and city government offices
Coordinates with the Facilities Manager, who serves as the primary liaison officer.
Policy and Compliance
Ensures the FM team’s compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Monitors proper implementation of FM processes and controls across the assigned properties.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Licensed Engineer is an advantage but not mandatory.
Experience:
At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in Facilities Management.
Experience in property/building operations, maintenance, project management, and vendor coordination is an advantage.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of facilities management operations and building maintenance.
Strong project and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of compliance and legal documentation requirements.
Ability to monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and manage operating budgets.
Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
