The Facilities Manager will be responsible to ensure that services meet the workers' needs. Inspect, repair, assist all related problems from electrical mechanical, air conditioning plumbing, janitorial, security, inventory supplies and door access. In addition, they are responsible for collecting data and analyzing it to adjust to current processes, plans, and also support future fit-out projects.
This position will report to minimum (3) Associate Director/Directors as a shared resource.
The AC Manila’s Facilities Manager will be one of the key drivers of our Workplace Experience. As he/she practices his/her expertise in keeping the properly maintained, clean and safe. The role combines management tasks such as supervising contractors and more strategic responsibilities such as managing budgets, advising on long-term energy efficiency. She/he will build relationships with other units that will collectively address issues and challenges by promoting collaboration.
Drive infrastructure expansion through end to end oversight of planning, construction, opening and maintenance of the office sites.
Conduct regular inspection of the office premises and fixtures – ensure high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security is implemented at all times
Manage the Facilities team performance and efficiency. Coach and train the team members
Responsible for the performance evaluation of security, messenger and housekeeping personnel
Purchase, monitor, and manage the office and pantry inventory
Establish, manage and improve fixed assets, equipment and supplies
Coordinate and liaise with third party vendors – preventive maintenance, data center, air conditioning system, CCTV, access cards, UPS, electrical, mechanical, thermal, fire, pest control, carpet cleaning, contract management, and other related matters
Ensure premises’ compliance to Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), BOI and local municipality standards
Develop, update and monitor centre’s Facilities policies and procedure
In-charge of budget and team strategy
Prepare reports and presentations
Responsible for stakeholder management, ensuring that the team responds on a timely and quality manner
Plan and implement programs promoting continuous improvement and costs savings
Spearhead the development of OSH policies, program, reviews, conducting risk assessment and enforce preventative measures, reviewing existing policies and measures and update according to legislation, conducting premises inspection and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (hazards) if needed, stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy, conducting incident investigation to determine causes, and preparing reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
Safety Officer role and other related government mandates as such including reportorial requirements.
Support BCP implementation and reviews
Carry out field work other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree of an Engineering Course
Minimum 5 or more years of Facilities Management experience
Certification in safety management (safety officer preferred such as BOSH, LCM & HIRAC)
Certified Pollution Officer (a plus)
Proficient in safety and security international standards
Strong background in facilities maintenance like data center, electrical, and air conditioning/mechanical works
Good in written and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Project Management
Knowledgeable in PEZA and BOI-governed entities would be an advantage
Excellent understanding of customer service with a strong sense on client focus
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter who is able to work independently and flexible to work outside office hours, if required
Has a good network of contacts related to facilities and office supplies
