Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee corrective and preventive maintenance for all facilities, buildings, and grounds.
• Ensure port facilities comply with company policies and Philippine Port Authority guidelines.
• Perform regular facilities inspections and document findings.
• Prepare all documentary government compliances such as permits and operating permits for equipment.
• Ensure safety rules are followed across facilities.
• Oversee space planning, renovations, and ground improvements.
• Recommend facility design modifications as needed.
• Source service providers or freelancers for maintenance and renovations.
• Review facility management reports for GM.

Facilities Management Supervisor - Globalport Davao

Job Description:

The Facilities Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of all company facilities, equipment, and grounds. The role ensures that buildings and utilities are properly maintained, repairs and services are carried out in a timely manner, and workplace standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality are consistently met. The Facilities Supervisor also coordinates with contractors and service providers, manages maintenance schedules, and supports the organization's operational requirements through effective facilities management.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads all corrective and preventive maintenance needed in any area, building or ground, within the vicinity.
• Ensures that the port facility, building, and ground, are clean and well-maintained according to the Company Policies and guidelines set by the Philippine Port Authority.
• Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
• Prepares all documentary Government compliances such as but not limited to building permits, occupancy permits, permit to operate for equipment, electrical permit etc.
• Ensures all facilities are following the set safety rules and regulations of the company or any governing body.
• Oversees space planning projects, office renovations, refurbishments, building and ground improvement projects and requests.
• Recommends facility design modifications as may be needed.
• Sources service providers and/or freelancers for maintenance work or special renovation work.
• Reviews reports in relation to Facility Management and other information which may be needed by the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Management, Architecture, Property Management.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, engineering support, or related technical work.
• Knowledgeable in using MS Office, Excel and related Engineering software
• Organized multi-tasking with strong decision-making abilities.
• Good communication Skills.
• Capable of prioritizing duties and exhibiting leadership skills.
