Job summary

QBE GROUP SHARED SERVICES LIMITED - PHILIPPINE BRANCH is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure budget adherence, and sustain business continuity through proactive planning.

You will lead safety, security, vendor relations, and process improvements, reporting to senior leaders and shaping a positive, compliant workplace across the site.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Some relevant work experience.
• Facilities management experience; leading others and growing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and processes efficiently to meet operational plan and budget commitments.
• Support department and company objectives through process enhancements and presenting results to business leaders.
• Plan and respond to catastrophic events and emergencies for business continuity.
• Manage facilities operations including security, safety, and site support outside normal hours.
• Build long-term vendor relationships to ensure alignment with business operations.
• Lead process improvement projects by resolving complex issues and introducing innovative tools.
• Foster relationships with senior management and execute ad-hoc requests.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others.

Facilities & Maintenance Work is generally performed on campus grounds. This may include working indoors and outdoors and on ground or roof levels. Must have the ability to climb, walk on uneven ground, bend, stoop, use a step and/or ladder, crawl, kneel, reach and stand. Incumbent may be exposed to minimally adverse environmental conditions such as inclement weather, chemicals and/or hazardous machinery. Incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
