Job summary

IBEX GLOBAL is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to coordinate maintenance, upkeep, and sanitation of the assigned facility within our Philippines operations. You will oversee preventive maintenance, supervise housekeeping, manage supplies, and coordinate with external contractors to keep infrastructure in top condition.

Daily duties include site walk-throughs, prioritizing repairs, maintaining spares and keys inventory, and liaising with Site Director/Ops Managers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in construction or electrical or related field.
• Supervisory Management Certificate is required.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience in facility management.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and facility operations is necessary.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Preventive Maintenance Program for assigned office buildings and properties.
• Supervise site office helpers, housekeeping, and janitorial services.
• Coordinate acquisition and distribution of office supplies, appliances, equipment and furniture, and related spares.
• Oversee repairs, rehabilitation and construction projects with external contractors.
• Perform minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, photocopiers and other equipment; escalate when beyond competency.
• Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of floors, carpets, and trash on schedule.
• Maintain inventory of spares and keys; manage asset inventory.
• Liaise with Site Director/Ops Managers to resolve open issues.
• Communicate unresolved service issues to Facility Manager promptly.
• Perform duties to the highest standard and with professionalism.

Job description

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the equipment and infrastructure maintenance, repair, upkeep, and general supervision to include sanitation of the assigned facility or facilities within the IBEX GLOBAL organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the Preventive Maintenance Program for assigned Office Buildings and other Properties.
• Supervises the Site Office Helpers/House Keeping/Janitorial services for the organization.
• Coordinates the acquisition and distribution of office supplies, appliances, equipment and furniture, and other related spares as required.
• Coordinates, repairs, rehabilitation and construction projects - Supervise/oversee planned refurbishing/maintenance works carried out by external contractors/tradesmen/laborers.
• Performs minor repair works/resolutions where necessary to include repairs to infrastructure, plumbing, Air Conditioning, electrical facilities, as also photocopiers and other equipment, and escalating to the manager where it exceeds competency level.
• Responsible for daily walk-through of the facility, assessing for existing or developing problems/concerns and resolving/implementing/escalating for solutions.
• Ensures the continuous upkeep and cleanness of the facility, ensuring floors, carpet and trash are cared for on a regular schedule.
• Maintains inventory of necessary spares to support timely minor repair works.
• Maintain an inventory of all keys and lockers.
• Proactively seek out and implement Facilities improvement activities and projects.
• Regularly liaises with Site Director/Ops. Managers throughout the day for any open issues for resolve
• Communicate any unresolved service issues and challenges to the Facility Manager on a timely basis.

• Execute all duties assigned to the highest standard and in a timely fashion.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or Diploma in Construction or Electrical (or related field)
• Must have a Supervisory Management Certificate.
• Minimum of three years Supervisory experience in Facility management.
• Experience in Project Management would be an asset.
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Facility operations is necessary.
• Basic knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing operations.

Working Conditions

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
