Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage export shipments from inquiry to departure, provide timely customer updates, and coordinate with customers, shippers, consignees, and internal operations.

You will prepare and review export documents (B/L, SI, invoices, packing lists), monitor schedules and vessel cut-offs, and ensure accurate records and smooth communications with all departments.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely updates regarding export shipments.
• Coordinate with customers, shippers, consignees, shipping lines, trucking companies, and internal operations teams.
• Receive and process export booking requests and ensure shipment details are complete and accurate.
• Monitor the status of export shipments from booking until cargo departure and provide regular updates to customers.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate export-related documents such as Bill of Lading (B/L), Shipping Instructions (SI), Booking Confirmation, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and other required documents.
• Coordinate with the Documentation and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of shipping documents.
• Follow up on vessel schedules, cut-off dates, container pick-up, stuffing, gate-in, loading, and departure schedules.
• Assist customers with concerns regarding shipment schedules, delays, documentation, charges, and other export-related matters.
• Coordinate with shipping lines and other service providers regarding bookings, amendments, roll-over, vessel changes, and other shipment concerns.
• Ensure that customer instructions and special requirements are properly communicated to the concerned departments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications, shipment updates, and related documents.
• Prepare shipment status reports and provide regular updates to customers and management.
