Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a detail-oriented shipping documentation specialist to prepare and process import/export documents and ensure LC compliance. You will coordinate with banks, suppliers and forwarders to resolve discrepancies and provide timely shipping updates.

The role requires strong organization, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided for LC knowledge and you should be proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organization are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
• Willingness to liaise with banks, suppliers and forwarders to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documentation for import and export.
• Handle Letters of Credit (LC) documentation and ensure timely submission per LC terms.
• Liaise with banks, suppliers and forwarders to resolve discrepancies in documentation.
• Provide timely updates on shipping status and address issues as they arise.
• Manage email correspondence with customers, principals and overseas agents.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Work well in a team and also independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Training will be provided if LC knowledge is lacking.
