Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electro Mechanical Technician or similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuitry and troubleshooting procedures.
• Proficiency with mechanical systems including pumps, motors, compressors, bearings, and hydraulics.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings and blueprints.
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure gauges).
• Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes for electrical and mechanical work.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing complex faults.
• Detail-oriented with ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team at our Mall of Asia location in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the mechanical and electrical systems that keep our facilities operating efficiently and safely. As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical equipment and systems. This position is essential to ensuring the continuous operation of building infrastructure and systems that support our clients' day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and systems in accordance with safety codes and industry standards
• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, compressors, and HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate testing equipment and tools
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and system failures to minimise downtime
• Conduct preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of all systems
• Document all maintenance work, repairs, and inspections in detailed records
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete complex projects
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
• Support the smooth operation of building facilities including electrical distribution, mechanical systems, and related infrastructure

What we're looking for

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex system faults
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Valid electrical certification or trade qualification is highly desirable
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
