Job summary

MABUHAY BISCUIT CORP. seeks an electrical technician to maintain and troubleshoot industrial automation systems on the production floor. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and motor controls to keep equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications include graduation in Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation, with experience in industrial electrical maintenance. Certification such as TESDA NC II/NC III is an advantage.

• Graduate of Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related course.
• With experience in industrial electrical maintenance and automation is preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, sensors, motor controls, and electrical control panels.
• Can read and interpret electrical and control wiring diagrams.
• With troubleshooting skills for automated production machinery.
• TESDA NC II/NC III Electrical, Mechatronics, or related certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems (basic to intermediate).
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI, and control panels.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Troubleshoot sensors, relays, contactors, actuators, and motor controls.
• Work with pneumatic and electro-pneumatic controls.
• Ensure electrical and machine safety.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems
• PLC troubleshooting and basic programming
• Knowledge of HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and control panels
• Troubleshooting of sensors, relays, contactors, and actuators
• Basic knowledge of VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) and motor controls
• Electrical control circuit troubleshooting
• Understanding of industrial automation and machine control systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Preventive maintenance of automated production equipment
• Troubleshooting of machine electrical and automation faults
• Knowledge of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic controls is an advantage
• Familiarity with industrial communication systems is an advantage
• Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as multimeter and clamp meter
• Knowledge of machine safety and electrical safety procedures
