Job summary

Exponent Controls and Electrical Corporation seeks an Electrician with knowledge or experience in industrial automation to support electrical and automation systems in an industrial environment. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, reading diagrams, and ensuring safe operation.

You will assist with PLC-controlled equipment and basic automation, perform preventive maintenance, document work, and uphold company safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Technology preferred but not required.
• TESDA NC II Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge or experience in industrial automation.
• Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, relays, motors, and control panels is an advantage.
• Able to read electrical and control wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Safety-conscious, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Physically fit and willing to work in an industrial environment.
• Can work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, connections, and panel installation.
• Assist in troubleshooting industrial automation systems, including sensors, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
• Assist with PLC-controlled equipment and basic automation systems.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical faults and perform necessary repairs.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of motors, drives, control panels, and other industrial equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing and ensure equipment operates safely and properly.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Prepare maintenance reports and document completed work.
• Perform other electrical and maintenance duties as assigned.
