Job description

Job Description:
  • Design and develop electrical control systems for industrial machinery and automated equipment.
  • Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and electrical specifications.
  • Select and specify appropriate electrical components, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, servo systems, VFDs, relays, switches, and other control devices.Design and review control panels and electrical circuits based on machine requirements.
  • Develop and maintain electrical BOMs, component specifications, drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Work with Mitsubishi, Omron, and Siemens PLC and automation systems and coordinate with PLC programmers for machine control integration.
  • Coordinate with mechanical design engineers and PLC programmers to ensure proper integration of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Support PLC programming, HMI configuration, testing, debugging, and system integration activities as required.
  • Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and machine validation.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system problems during machine assembly, testing, and production operation.
  • Review existing electrical systems and recommend improvements to enhance machine safety, reliability, performance, and efficiency.
  • Support machine installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.
  • Participate in machine development, automation, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, electrical documentation, manuals, and other engineering documents.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production, assembly, maintenance, and other relevant departments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Relevant experience in industrial electrical design and automation is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control circuits, sensors, motors, and electrical components.
  • Experience with electrical CAD/design software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, HMI, inverter/servo systems, and industrial networks is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical safety standards.
  • Good communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
