Job summary

Ecology Energy Corporation is seeking an Electronics/Electrical Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of our industrial electrical systems. You will troubleshoot faults, install and test equipment, and read schematics to ensure peak performance in a plant environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with testing tools, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to work shifts including emergencies, with safety and documentation as top priorities.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical course.
  • With experience in industrial electrical maintenance is preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
  • Proficient in using electrical testing tools and equipment.
  • Willing to work in a plant/industrial environment and handle shifts.
  • Safety-conscious and detail-oriented; TESDA EIM NC II is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial electrical equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in wiring, motors, and control panels.
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical equipment and control systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and identify hazards.
  • Read electrical diagrams and equipment manuals.
  • Use testing instruments like multimeters and clamp meters.
  • Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain records of inspections and repairs.
  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Engineering, and Operations teams during maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergencies as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial electrical equipment and systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, wiring, motors, control panels, and electrical components.

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical equipment, machines, and control systems.

  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and identify potential hazards or defects.

  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.

  • Use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery.

  • Perform electrical wiring, connections, and component replacement as required.

  • Maintain records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment conditions.

  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Engineering, and Operations teams during equipment repairs and maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, company policies, and applicable standards.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.

  • Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergencies as needed.

  • Perform other related duties and special projects assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical course.

  • With experience in industrial electrical maintenance is preferred.

  • Knowledgeable in industrial wiring, motors, control panels, electrical systems, and equipment.

  • Able to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics.

  • Proficient in using electrical testing tools and equipment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Willing to work in a plant/industrial environment.

  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, and during emergency breakdowns when required.

  • TESDA Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II or relevant certification is an advantage.

  • Safety-conscious, reliable, and detail-oriented.
