Job summary

Electrical Current Solutions Pty Ltd is expanding its Philippines team with a senior estimator role focused on electrical project estimation and coordination. You will take-off quantities, develop BOQs and client-ready quotations while coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The position emphasizes Australian standards, strong English drafting, and long-term growth within a Western Australian contractor serving mining and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• PRC registration (REE or RME) strongly preferred and will be verified.
• 3+ years' experience estimating electrical work in construct. environments.

Responsibilities

• Take off quantities from electrical drawings (cable runs, light fittings, GPOs, switchboards).
• Build bills of quantities and priced estimates in templates.
• Request, compare and interrogate supplier quotations for components.
• Calculate labour hours against production rates and apply loadings.
• Write scope-of-works statements with inclusions/exclusions.
• Assemble estimates into client-ready quotations.
• Maintain project files, drawing registers and revision control.
• Track variations from instruction through pricing and submission.
• Prepare monthly progress claims with supporting docs.
• Keep job management system accurate and current.
