This full-time role blends quantity surveying with electrical engineering to deliver accurate cost estimates, budgeting, and project support for electrical works and systems. You will analyse documents, perform takeoffs, monitor costs, prepare variation orders, and collaborate with PMs and procurement to ensure cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience as QS or cost estimator in electrical or MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and standards.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Analyse tender documents, specifications, drawings and site conditions to develop accurate budgets.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs for electrical systems, installations and components.
• Manage cost control throughout project execution, monitoring expenditures against budgeted figures.
• Prepare variation orders and change order assessments for electrical works.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency.
