Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines is seeking a cost estimator with an Electrical background to prepare quantities, BOQs, and project cost estimates from plans. Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical or related field and able to estimate costs.
• Experience or knowledge in estimating, costing or quantity take-off.
• Proficient in MS Excel and reading plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQ, and project cost estimates from plans.
• Review drawings and specs for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with Design and Sales on project requirements and scope.
• Prepare cost breakdowns, quotations, and client proposals within timelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and pricing options.
• Monitor material costs and update estimates as needed.
• Assist Project Team with cost-related concerns during implementation.
• Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
