Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator & Technical Services Manager for a fully remote, independent contractor role supporting Australian projects. The role focuses on estimating, tendering, CAD drafting and project support, with ambition to build and lead a Philippines-based team.

You will prepare accurate estimates, drawings and tender submissions and will eventually establish estimators and drafting staff, coordinating with the Australian delivery team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electrical estimating experience on Australian projects.
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and related standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and electrical drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam for drawings.
• Experience with Simpro or similar PM software.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience pricing variations and tenders.
• Residential, commercial electrical fit-outs experience.
• Ability to manage remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Estimate Australian residential, commercial, and fit-out projects.
• Review plans and tender docs to determine the scope.
• Prepare material, labour and equipment take-offs.
• Prepare quotations and tender submissions.
• Manage variations and changes in scope.
• Lead Philippines-based estimators and drafting team.
• Produce AutoCAD shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers and delivery teams.
• Support procurement and cost tracking.
• Develop standardized templates and QA processes.
