Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking an Electrical Estimator to review electrical drawings, project specs and tender documents to form the complete project scope. You will prepare material quantity takeoffs for industrial and municipal works and develop preliminary labour estimates using established productivity standards.

With 3+ years of electrical estimating experience, you will interpret drawings and specifications, leverage Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift and Excel to drive accurate bids.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Experience interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specs.
• Proficient in takeoff software (Bluebeam PlanSwift) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs and tender docs to understand project scope.
• Prepare material quantity takeoffs for industrial and municipal projects.
• Develop preliminary labour-hour estimates using productivity standards.
• Identify drawing gaps and prepare RFIs/clarification notes.
• Assemble estimating packages for Senior Estimator review.
• Maintain estimating databases and cost libraries.
• Assist with bid revisions and scope updates.
• Utilize estimating software and Excel for takeoffs.
