Job summary

Angkas, a leading ride-hailing platform in the Philippines, is looking for an experienced Onboarding Lead to manage a field onboarding team of driver specialists. You will set performance standards, coach, and optimize the onboarding process to ensure fast activation and compliance.

You will collaborate with recruitment, screen candidates, verify documents, and deliver training to new drivers, aiming to exceed targets while upholding company policies and a positive onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, or related field.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of field onboarding agents.
• Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Develop and optimize the field onboarding process for efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all new drivers.
• Monitor KPIs related to onboarding (activation time, conversion).
• Collaborate with recruitment to identify and attract driver candidates.
• Implement recruitment strategies to meet hiring targets.
• Screen and interview potential drivers to assess suitability.
• Oversee verification of driver documents (licenses, permits, medical certificates).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and conduct training programs for new drivers.
• Ensure drivers understand platform features and guidelines.
• Adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Achieve or exceed targets set by supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Accept other associated responsibilities as needed.
