Responsibilities

Job description

We're looking for a Drayage Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a US-based logistics client.

This is not simply an administrative role. You'll be working in a fast-moving environment where containers, drivers, terminals, appointments, customers, and deadlines all need to stay aligned.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate and monitor drayage shipments from pickup through delivery
• Track container availability, terminal status, appointments, pickups, deliveries, and returns
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, terminals, warehouses, customers, and internal teams
• Monitor shipments proactively and follow up on delays, exceptions, and outstanding requirements
• Provide clear and timely shipment updates to US-based stakeholders
• Assist with scheduling and rescheduling pickup and delivery appointments
• Maintain accurate shipment information and documentation in the client's systems
• Identify potential issues before they become service failures and elevate when necessary
• Support documentation, reporting, and other logistics coordination activities

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Strong written and spoken English — above-average communication skills are essential
• Excellent coordination, organization, and follow-through
• Comfortable communicating directly with US-based clients, carriers, drivers, and other stakeholders
• Able to manage multiple active shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Comfortable working during US business hours / night shift in the Philippines
• Confident using email, spreadsheets, messaging platforms, and web-based systems

Highly Preferred:

• Previous experience in drayage, trucking, freight forwarding, logistics, dispatch, or transportation operations
• Familiarity with container tracking and port/terminal operations
• Understanding of terms such as ETA, availability, appointment, demurrage, detention, free time, chassis, POD, empty return, and last free day
• Experience working with US logistics companies or customers
