Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support transportation, freight and shipment operations across multiple distribution channels. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing freight schedules, maintaining shipment visibility and ensuring the timely delivery of products across various locations. The ideal candidate has experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain operations and excels at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Freight Coordination & Shipment Management

• Coordinate and schedule LTL and FTL shipments
• Request, compare and manage freight quotes from carriers and logistics providers
• Book transportation services and oversee shipment scheduling from origin to destination
• Coordinate dock appointments and receiving schedules with warehouses and fulfillment centers
• Track shipments proactively and resolve delays, routing issues, missed appointments and delivery exceptions
• Maintain accurate shipment status updates and visibility across active freight movements
• Communicate regularly with carriers, freight brokers and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations

Shipping Documentation & Administration

• Prepare and manage shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, shipment labels, commercial invoices and customs-related paperwork
• Maintain organized digital shipment records and freight documentation
• Update shipment trackers, freight logs and operational dashboards
• Ensure compliance with customer, retailer and marketplace shipping requirements
• Support inventory transfers and movement between facilities

Warehouse & Operations Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure products are packed, labeled and shipped correctly
• Provide shipment updates to operations, sales and customer support teams
• Assist in resolving shipping issues such as delays, damages, shortages or misrouted shipments
• Monitor delivery timelines and proactively elevate operational concerns
• Support logistics process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Marketplace & Fulfillment Support

• Assist with shipment coordination for marketplace and fulfillment operations
• Monitor receiving schedules, delivery windows and compliance requirements
• Coordinate shipment preparation and labeling requirements for fulfillment centers
• Support efficient inventory flow across multiple distribution channels

Job Qualifications and Skill Set

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight operations, transportation, shipping, or supply chain support
