Job summary

Prime Infra seeks a Document Controller for the power plant construction project in Pakil, Laguna. The role focuses on receiving, distributing, safeguarding, and reproducing technical documents and correspondence during the execution phase.

You will support the Site Project Manager and Engineers, implement document control procedures, ensure revision control, and oversee archiving of records, drawings, and startup records.

Qualifications

• Experience with document control in construction or power facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic document management processes.

JOB OVERVIEW

This Document Controller is responsible for the receiving and transmittal, distribution and safekeeping, and document reproduction, of all correspondence, and technical documents such as reports procedure, instruction manuals, drawings, daily diary, control logbooks, log sheets recorder charts and drawings of the power plant during the execution phase in both hard and soft copy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Site Project Manager and Project Engineers in providing construction support services during the execution phase of the project.
• Develop and implement site document control procedures.
• Act as custodian of all project documents - technical, general incoming and outgoing correspondences, reports, instruction manuals, drawings, log sheets/charts, commissioning / startup records, etc. - and ensure safety and systematic retrieval of such.
• Lend/retrieve requested manual drawings, technical documents to requesting parties.
• Schedules the review of files, documents, and technical manuals to identify obsolete materials and facilitate the proper archiving of records and documents.
• Ensure proper revision and version control of documents being used for the construction of the power plant and supporting facilities.
• Ensure proper disposal of obsolete records and documents.
• Perform other related tasks and/or functions that may be assigned by the Site Project Manager.

Qualifications

• College graduate in a technical discipline, construction, or related field related experience.
• At least 10 years solid experience in power facility construction projects, and/or operating industrial facilities in a document control capacity
• Proficiency in MS office applications
• Able to read and use technical documents
• Amenable to work in Pakil, Laguna
