Regent Construction International Inc. is seeking a Document Controller to establish and maintain orderly filing and document control for the project in Lapu-Lapu. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
This is not project based employment and will be a regular employee upon passing the probationary period.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain an organized filing and document control system for the project.
2. Receive, register, classify, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents.
3. Maintain the Document Control Log/Document Register and ensure all documents are properly recorded.
4. Ensure that only the latest approved revision of drawings, specifications, and other controlled documents are being circulated and used.
5. Monitor superseded, obsolete, or cancelled documents and ensure these are properly identified and archived.
6. Maintain both electronic and hard-copy project records when required.
7. Ensure documents are properly named, coded, indexed, and stored for easy retrieval.
8. Control the issuance and distribution of Drawings and Technical Documents.
9. Receive and log contractor submissions, including and not limited to Material Submittals, Shop Drawings, Method Statements, RFIs & RFA's, Testing and Commissioning Documents, and others.
10. Ensure documents are properly routed to the appropriate engineer, consultant, PMO, or management representative for review.
11. Control incoming and outgoing letters, memoranda, notices, transmittals, and emails requiring official project records.
12. Track responses and required actions arising from official correspondence.
13. Assist in the preparation and compilation of documents required for project handover.
14. Document Controller shall have the authority to; Return incomplete or improperly identified documents for correction.
15. Escalate overdue document submissions or responses to the Construction Management Head.
16. Recommend improvements to the project's document control and filing system.
17. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
