Are you an experienced Document Controller ready to step up as the central authority for documentation on a flagship infrastructure project?
Join a leading infrastructure and development enterprise and take charge of managing critical data, engineering drawings, and FIDIC-governed transmittals that shape the future of airport infrastructure.
About the Company
Our client is a premier infrastructure development company in the Philippines, driving world-class projects that foster connection, efficiency, and regional progress across key sectors.
About the Role
The Document Controller serves as the central authority for managing the intake, systematic tracking, verification, distribution, and archiving of all project documentation. Operating within a FIDIC-governed project environment, this role ensures a clear, auditable trail of communication and technical data between project owners, the EPC Contractor, the Grantor, and all project subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- EDMS Oversight & Information Governance: Implement and manage the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to log, track, and version-control deliverables, drawings, correspondence, and submittals, acting as the primary gatekeeper for official transmittals.
- Procurement & Tendering Support: Manage distribution of tender packages, log incoming bids, and maintain a rigorous register of Requests for Information (RFIs) and clarifications during bidding.
- Technical Library & Drawing Control: Maintain an up-to-date repository of engineering baselines, Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, and as-built documentation; ensure proper distribution of revisions and formal recall of outdated versions.
- Compliance, Auditing & Claims Defense: Enforce document standardization and naming conventions while supporting leadership with documentation critical for progress reporting, claims management, delay analysis, and extension-of-time (EOT) defense.
- Construction Phase Tracking: Track inspection reports, technical queries, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Site Instructions, routing them promptly to correct technical leads to prevent delays.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in major infrastructure, airport construction, or large-scale commercial developments.
- Advanced proficiency in modern document management software (SharePoint, Aconex, or similar EDMS).
- Basic familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit to navigate project drawings for verification purposes.
- Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contract administration principles (or similar standard construction contracts).
- Sharp attention to detail with the ability to enforce administrative procedures and coordinate across diverse stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.

- Gain direct exposure to high-level governance across major industry stakeholders (Grantor, EPC Contractor, Subcontractors).
- Work with modern EDMS tools and construction contract frameworks (FIDIC) in a fast-paced environment.
