We are seeking an experienced and results-driven District Manager to oversee sales operations and business development activities within the assigned Luzon territory. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to the field sales team, drive achievement of sales targets, develop key customer relationships, and ensure effective territory management.
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated leadership and team management experience, a strong track record of achieving sales targets, and solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry. Experience handling the Luzon territory is highly preferred.
Lead, coach, motivate, and manage the assigned sales team to achieve and exceed district sales targets.
Set individual and team sales objectives, monitor performance, and implement appropriate action plans.
Conduct regular field coaching, performance reviews, and developmental activities.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of sales representatives.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives.
Monitor district sales performance, identify business opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize growth.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, and other stakeholders.
Support product launches, promotional activities, conferences, and other business development initiatives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.
Ensure effective coverage and management of assigned territories.
Optimize territory assignments, customer coverage, and field activities to maximize sales productivity.
Monitor sales calls, customer engagement, and territory performance.
Manage and monitor district-related expenses and promotional activities within approved budgets.
Ensure effective coordination with distributors and internal departments.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, business plans, and territory reports.
Analyze sales data and market performance to identify gaps and opportunities.
Provide regular updates to management regarding sales performance, market conditions, and business opportunities.
Monitor achievement of KPIs and implement corrective measures when necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pharmaceutical regulations, and applicable laws and ethical standards.
Ensure that all promotional and customer engagement activities are conducted in accordance with company guidelines.
Complete required Quality & Compliance training within prescribed timelines.
Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and implement corrective actions when required.
Support continuous improvement of sales processes and related procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with demonstrated leadership or people-management experience.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Experience managing a sales team and/or multiple territories is highly preferred.
Experience handling the Luzon territory is an advantage.
Experience in Oncology or specialty pharmaceutical products is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, healthcare markets, and industry regulations.
Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Strong analytical and business planning capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Willing and able to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
