Job summary

You will conduct market research, develop distributor proposals, negotiate agreements, and train distributors on product features and selling strategies. Willingness to travel within Metro Manila and nearby provinces is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in new business development, distributor management, or sales within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in contract negotiation and understanding of distributor agreements and terms.

About the role

We are seeking a Distributor Specialist to join our New Business Development team at DFC Food Manufacturing Corporation. This is a full-time position based in Marikina City, Metro Manila. As a Distributor Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with potential distributors to expand our market reach and drive revenue growth. This position is strategically important to our business as it directly impacts our ability to penetrate new markets and strengthen our distribution network across the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential distributors that align with DFC Food Manufacturing Corporation's brand values and business objectives
• Conduct market research and analysis to understand distribution opportunities, market gaps, and competitive landscapes in targeted regions
• Develop and present compelling distributor proposals and partnership packages to prospective partners
• Negotiate distributor agreements, terms, and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential distributors through regular communication and support
• Provide training and support to distributors on product features, benefits, and selling strategies

• Identify and implement strategies to enhance distributor productivity and profitability

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in new business development, distributor management, or sales within the food manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders

• Experience in contract negotiation and understanding of distributor agreements and terms
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
• Willingness to travel within Metro Manila and nearby provinces as required
