Job Description

The Development Associate works closely with the Development Manager in managing account activities and processes. You will be a key contributor to the fundraising research and strategy process and one of the primary movers within the team in organizing interactions with clients in the global social sector. Ideal candidates are excited about thinking creatively and building big, but simple solutions. Successful Development Associates are passionate about teamwork and direct communication and believe that no problem is somebody else’s.

This is an excellent opportunity for bright and driven professionals to learn about the nonprofit sector, build their management skills, and receive quality training and knowledge in international development.

• At least 12 months of experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing research; handling multiple research projects at once is an advantage
• Experience in project management and/or account management, preferably in a B2B set-up, creative services, or development sector is an advantage
• Excellent direct communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience in entrepreneurial environments that require proactivity and self-directed work
• Experience in and/or genuine interest in fundraising, international development, social entrepreneurship, community development, and the social sector
