Job summary

TEMU is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT Support team in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. You will provide first- and second-level support to end users, troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity, and help keep desktop and laptop estates running smoothly.

The role emphasizes security, asset management, and documentation, with opportunities to grow through certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Modern Desktop, and exposure to virtualization and remote support tools.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of proven desktop support or help desk experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers).
• Proficiency with Active Directory, user accounts, and access management.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and asset management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer service orientation and patience with end users.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Modern Desktop are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to end users.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows and macOS issues and software conflicts.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions per security policies.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security installs.
• Assist with deployment of new hardware and software across the organisation.
• Document IT assets and support tickets in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues and collaborate with IT teammates.
• Support backup and disaster recovery procedures.
