Job summary

Microbase Inc in Makati seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide desktop support, basic network troubleshooting, and infrastructure monitoring to ensure smooth IT operations.

You will install Windows applications, support Outlook and MS Office, deploy devices, and help maintain security and documentation across the client environment. Ideal candidates have 6 months of admin experience, strong communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably with a computer background.
• At least 6 months related experience in administration.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to assist clients and negotiate beneficial agreements.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Has very good client relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Basic troubleshooting for local user, desktop support, and miscellaneous helpdesk.
• Windows application installation and support.
• Microsoft Outlook client support.
• Microsoft Office support.
• Basic network troubleshooting including LAN and WAN.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of incidents as determined by Microbase.
• Removal of viruses and recovery of backups for incidents involving hardware faults, human error, or viruses.
• Weekly monitoring of IT central infrastructure and submission of written recommendations if deviations occur.
• IT central infrastructure includes Windows Servers, Nodes Servers, In-country Network, LAN, and International Network Components.
• Maintain updated computing, email, workplace, and communications documentation as defined by the client/project.
• Deployment of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Maintenance and security of client’s databases.
