The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in sales, customer service, or telemarketing, and understands FDCPA.

Qualifications

• This position requires at least 2 years in sales, customer service, or telemarketing.
• Ability to negotiate debt payment plans with debtors.
• Excellent recordkeeping and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate on debt collection efforts with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and take inbound calls to determine resolutions and payment arrangements.
• Negotiate repayment terms that work for the consumer, client, and company.
• Enter accurate demographic information into the database.
• Utilize systems and web-based tools to research and resolve accounts.
• Comply with state and federal laws governing collections.
