Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Customer service representative to join our team. This position requires someone with precise attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle patient inquiries in a friendly, clear, and welcoming manner. The primary role will be to accommodate patients, assess their needs, and ensure they are enrolled in our membership program. Prior experience in healthcare or patient care is essential, and prior sales experience is highly appreciated. Additionally, punctuality and strong attendance are a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls in a friendly, professional manner, and assessing patients' needs to ensure they are enrolled in the appropriate membership.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing relevant information about healthcare services and membership benefits.
- Clearly communicate membership options, benefits, and enrollment processes to patients, ensuring they fully understand their options.
- Ensure all patient information is accurately documented and entered into the system.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all data is current and compliant with healthcare regulations.
- Communicate clearly and audibly during phone calls and in person, ensuring all messages are delivered effectively.
- We are seeking a candidate who is fluent in English with clear communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with American patients. While proficiency in English is essential, we value clarity and ease of understanding in both written and spoken communication.
- Follow-up with patients to ensure satisfaction and confirm membership enrollment and appointment details.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in healthcare, patient care, or a customer service role is required.
- Sales experience is highly preferred for gauging patient needs and assisting with membership enrollment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity, professionalism, and persuasive communication.
- Ability to speak clearly and audibly during phone conversations and in person.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and patient record-keeping.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to remain calm and composed when handling patient concerns.
- Friendly, welcoming, and patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with medical office management or front desk operations.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and patient care procedures.
- Proficiency with healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt to sales targets and meet enrollment goals.
