Job Summary:
The Healthcare Voice Account Representative is responsible for handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. You will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals, providing information, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and resolving inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Inbound and Outbound Calls: Answer calls from patients, doctors' offices, and insurance companies with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Patient Assistance: Assist callers with scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments, and provide accurate information regarding their healthcare services.
- Information Verification: Verify patient information, including personal details and insurance coverage, ensuring all data is accurately and securely recorded.
- Inquiry Resolution: Address and resolve patient concerns, questions, and complaints efficiently and professionally. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Data Entry: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions in the company's database, adhering to strict confidentiality and privacy protocols (e.g., HIPAA).
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all callers.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to patient privacy and data security.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent. A college degree is a plus, but not required.
- Experience: Open to applicants with or without prior BPO experience. We provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. A clear and professional speaking voice is essential.
- Customer Service Orientation: A strong passion for helping others and a friendly, empathetic, and patient demeanor.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using a computer and navigating various software applications.
- Availability: Willingness to work in a shifting schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
